They are currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled team.
Job Overview:
Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Panel Beater who is passionate about automotive body repair and restoration. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in panel beating or an equivalent certification, with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the field. A valid skill assessment is preferred but not mandatory. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate the extent of damage to vehicle bodies and determine the best method of repair.
- Remove, repair, and replace damaged panels, body components, and other parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Realign vehicle frames and chassis to restore vehicles to their original specifications.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces to achieve a smooth, even finish in preparation for painting.
- Weld and fabricate metal parts when necessary to complete repairs.
- Apply primers, paints, and sealants to repaired areas, ensuring a high-quality finish.
- Work closely with other team members, including painters and mechanics, to ensure seamless repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time taken.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualification:
Relevant qualification in panel beating or an equivalent certification.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in panel beating is preferable.
Skill Assessment:
A valid skill assessment is highly desirable but not mandatory.

- Strong technical skills in automotive body repair, including the use of panel beating tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in welding, metal fabrication, and frame alignment.
